WHY IS EATING FOR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH SO IMPORTANT??

I grew up with this motto: Feel Good, Look Good, And You Be Good!!

All throughout my life, I strived to feel good and that is because if you eat right, you feel right!

Nutrition Is Directly Linked With How We Feel: Our Mood, Our Hormones, And Our Digestion.

After a meal, do you ever feel exhausted, sluggish, and like you can not go back to work, enjoy your date night, or have enough energy for your kids?

Do you experience aches and pains or migraines?

These physiological symptoms can be linked with what we are eating.

Did you know that our gut and our brain are interconnected and the foods we eat influence our digestive system and our brain functioning?

Some foods we eat can disrupt our mental health with increasing anxiety, depression, and sleep.

However….

Food can be our medicine!

For me, once I figured out what food my body needed, I had an increase in energy, more life balance as I set my priorities straight, AND my anxiety has greatly decreased!

These sessions will not only focus on your nutrition, as we will also discuss other factors as well including: stress, worry, sleep, hygiene, water intake, social relationships, etc. I provide a holistic approach, because as you know, it is all interrelated!
